Equipment
Although many items are available, the only thing you absolutely need to buy is the uniform, and this does not need to be bought until sometime before your first grading. Most people who attend the sparring class regularly for a while purchase their own arm and shin guards. The other equipment you can borrow from the club.
Please note that all equipment sold by the club is sold at cost including the club instructor discount we receive from suppliers; as such we can only sell equipment to our club members.

$65 without writing, $75 with “Taekwondo” Stitched on back.
Arm + Shin Guards
VINYL - Only $30 each or $60 for both.
COTTON - The best reason to get these is the price: $35 for the set, or separately arm $20 shin $25. However vinyl guards offer better protection and durability.
COTTON INSTEP GUARD + ARM SET - $40 - You can’t wear instep guards in competition, but they are good for avoiding foot injuries or while recovering from a foot injury. Instep separately $25.
