More grading news~! 2/5/10

Hey guys

Grading is coming soon. For all of you who aren’t a member of our Facebook group, here’s the message that Jason sent around;

Guys and Gals of Taekwondo!

The following is information about GRADING:
DATE: 16th May 2010 (Sunday)
TIME: 930am-12pm
LOCN: HK WARD Dojo Room
FEE: To be advised

Please bring with you the following:
- Pen
- Full Taekwondo Uniform (including belt)
- NO SHOES TO BE WORN DURING GRADING (except for assistance – myself/black belts)
- Water

Black belts or people who are not grading, please come along to assist and support if you are free.

I will be at HK WARD Ovals on Sunday morning from 830am to assist those who will be grading that day (Extra training/last minute training). PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE LATE for this event, afterall it is an examination (Don’t Stress). You can also bring your friends and family members to come and take pictures etc.

Monday 3rd May – Training will be focused on grading preparation
Monday 10th May – This training will go through grading format that will happen on Sunday.

All Belts who wish to grade please learn your patterns properly, for colour belts please memorise the current pattern and the previous patter. I will teach you “one-step-sparring” and “self defence” on Monday.

See you all on Monday at 3pm for training.

PS: Please do not hesitate to ask us for help anytime you see us :)

For the Poomse, here’s a site I found quite helpful

Also we will be having a Club Photo taken after the grading. Uniforms are a must, we gotta look smart and spiffy after all. Again, I’ll tell you guys when the Mooto uniforms are back in. If you don’t have one you can borrow one off Jason for the photo.

Good luck with your pattern memorisation and I’ll see you all on Monday.
