New Class Times! + Fundraising News

Hi everybody,

I have exciting news for you all! Taekwondo Club class times will change starting from next Monday (April 6th) and an excel file of the new timetable has been sent to your e-mails so please make sure to check it out.

Simply put, we have introduced new daytime classes between 3:00pm to 4:15pm aimed at beginners and junior belt members on Mondays and Wednesdays. Secondly, we now have junior sparring classes on Mondays from 4:15pm to 5:30pm, and this new sparring class will help us improve our technique and skills in order to become the best uni club in Australia!

If anybody is a bit confused by the new timetable or has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

On to other key news:

Chocolates! Yes, they’re back! We have delicious new Cadbury fundraising chocolates and each box contains Freddos, Caramello Koalas, TimeOut, Cherry Ripe, Boost and Crunchies! Every box sold helps the Taekwondo Club become No#1 at the Australian University Games (AUG’s) and also helps raise funds for an exciting and massive end of year event for everybody in the club. This year, the AUG’s are held at the Gold Coast between Sunday 27th September and Friday 2nd October, so get ready! Each box costs $60 and we kindly ask everybody to pay before taking their box with them. When you sell all your chocolates you keep the money you collected and therefore you get back your $60. To grab a box come to training with your money and find Zoe so that she can hook you up with some devilishly good chocolates.

Lastly, grading is on this Saturday starting at 1:00pm. I hope everybody has sufficiently prepared and I wish you all the best of luck! If black belts are available on this day, please come to help prepare the grading and also help to keep the grading run smoothly.

Kind Regards,

John Lee
